The Prime minister, minister of health and other officials of the country, was first to express gratitude for vaccines. Georgian officials found it tough to pre-order vaccines from Pfizer. The lengthy negotiations ended with 100 000 vaccines but in 1 year. Georgia could secure more than 1 000 000 vaccines from China. 200 000 registered for Pfizer
More than 200 000 residents were registered for this vaccine. The director of NCDC was happy with the results. Amiran Gamkrelidze noted that Georgians believed in Pfizer effectiveness, and they got a chance to jab with the favorite vaccine. Officials of the country announced the digital registration for the vaccine in the morning. In just six hours, more than 200 000 residents registered for Pfizer.
