California and Hawaii are going to put more pressure on health and public sector’s workers. In these states, the cases are going up, so officials want to see more workers get vaccines against covid-19.

Delta is the strongest variant in the states.
The new Delta variant can cause more problems than other variants. It is because a mutant in the virus was found, which has made it powerful to make people feel sicker faster. The first reported case of this infection happened in late Winter in California. Since then, many cases and deaths have been registered due to this disease from 9 states – Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington. As of now, there are many cases related to the Delta variant in Hawaii too.

Is there any vaccine against the delta variant?
As of now, there is no vaccine available in the market for delta variants. But experts have said that they are working to develop one. Pfizer is the most influential vaccine currently. The booster dose is significant for patients that got two doses already. Pfizer’s representatives say that the booster will help you against Delta variants’ side effects, and it will save you from death.
The symptoms of the covid-19 delta variant are generally the same as many other flu strains. The first symptom of this illness is fever which usually comes within three days after infection, but some people might get it earlier. It is not necessary that every person infected would get a fever because many can remain asymptomatic from the infection or may show mild symptoms like headache and diarrhoea. Many patients also suffer from vomiting and chills during the initial phase of the disease. People infected with this strain may require treatment like oxygen support or a ventilator if they become severely ill later on due to respiratory failure.

The president is adopting the obligatory vaccination on the federal level. There are incentives that Joe Biden’s administration is working on.
